Hello World! Welcome Friends! I’m glad you are here for another edition of the One Room Challenge. It has been quite the task working on the stencil; or should I say finding time to work on the stencil. We’ve had several family functions coupled with the fact we hosted Easter for my family which left little room for painting. But, I’m good with a deadline. Don’t fret, the stencil will get done. This weekend, I plan on working straight through to see if I can get it finished. In the meantime, let me show you want I have ordered for the space.
I completely forgot to share the inspiration for the bar stools on the very first week. Since the space is narrow, I opted for backless bar stools. Four of these pretties will be arriving tomorrow.
These are from Joss & Main. The base is weathered gray with gray fabric on the seat and just a touch of nailhead trim.
It took me forever to decide on a chandelier. But, when I saw this one from Overstock, I knew it would look perfect in the space.
This is the mirror I ordered also from Overstock. I love the clean lines with the flourishes in the corners at at the top.
And, these are coming as well from Overstock.
Also, from Overstock.
Tomorrow the mirror, chandelier and bar stools are scheduled to arrive. The rug and lamps are being processed and should ship soon. The only thing I haven’t ordered are the curtains. I thought I might make the panels, but time is flying past me pretty quick. If I were finished with the stencil, I would go ahead and make some panels. But alas, I have to get that stencil finished. I’m hoping to narrow down my curtain picks tonight and get those ordered as well.
I would love for you to let me know your thoughts in the comment section below as we go through progress updates. And, if you want to make sure you are getting the latest updates each week, straight to your inbox without missing a single detail, you can sign up for my emails at the bottom of this post.

I really like the choices you’ve made. The curvy shapes in the lamps, mirror frame, and chandelier are complementary. And, I like the soft colors in the rug. Everything will look fabulous together in the room.
