Hello World! Welcome Friends! This week Little Dedicated has been on Spring Break; so we have been spending the week hanging out, going out to lunch and having a couple of play dates. Make it Pretty will be back next week. But, today I want to show you some of the rooms from the Colonial that I never showed you. All of the rooms are located upstairs, and first up is the Master Bedroom.
Below, this is what I started with.
Dark green walls and gold ceiling. Let me just say, I hate painting ceilings!
It took two coats of primer to cover up these dark colors. It really opened up the space painting the ceiling white and made the room much brighter.
When we first moved in 2 1/2 years ago, I painted the room a light beige color. This was of course before I fell in love with gray. I had every intention of painting this room gray, but we put the house on the market and it sold within 1 week. So, beige it stayed.
The next room makeover is the Master Bathroom.
The colors are the same color that the previous owners used in the Master Bedroom. They just switched the location. Dark green on the ceiling and gold on the walls.
The new paint color is Pebble Beach 1597 from Benjamin Moore in an eggshell finish.
It was amazing how just changing the paint colors made the space brighter and lighter.
We did have plans to change out the vanity, mirror and lights, but we just ran out of time.
Below is the room we changed into our shared office.
Gold on the ceiling and walls with a maroon accent wall.
I kept the color scheme consistent using Benjamin Moore Pebble Beach in an eggshell finish.
Below are rooms that I did show you, but I thought I would share them again to give you a refresh.
Below is Little Dedicated’s pink and white dream.
Gold walls and gold ceiling!
Office turned into a fun playroom.
I hope you enjoyed the room makeovers at the Colonial! Please let me know your thoughts or if you have any questions.
Next week I will be taking part in a Spring Tour. I do hope you will stop by and get some Spring inspiration!
