Hello World! Welcome Friends! I’m so excited to share with you the home we chose. I’ve gotten a lot of good feedback from all of you telling me how much you enjoyed the house tours! Trust me, I enjoy touring houses so much so that I often drop in and tour new model homes in and around Houston. But, today is all about our new home.
Welcome to the Sunrise Meadow house which was House Number One on our house tour!
One of the reasons we chose this house was because of its curb appeal.
It has a 3 car tandem garage which I’m over the moon with! I’m itching to get it organized and I want to epoxy the floor.
The photos of the dining room really do not do it justice. The space is quite large which is perfect for when the family comes over.
The study will be shared by Mr. Dedicated and Little Dedicated. It will do double duty as an office and the music room.
We adore the rotunda and the staircase!
We chose the smallest house of the 4 houses we toured. This house has 3205 square feet with a great size lot.
The wood floors are gorgeous throughout the downstairs.
The kitchen was also the best kitchen in all of the houses. There is storage galore.
And a gas cooktop!
The door straight ahead leads to the super large pantry!
Just picture the cabinets painted white! I have lots of plans for this kitchen!
Plantation shutters throughout the downstairs living areas.
The master bedroom has amazing crown moulding and this darling bay area. Just picture a chandelier hanging down.
The master bathroom was the largest in this house! This is one side of it. I will have to give you a better tour one of these days. The jetted tub is massive. I can lay down completely and my feet don’t touch the other side. Of course, I am only 5′ 6″! But, it is quite dreamy! It’s like having a hot tub inside the house!
The double doors lead back to the bedroom; and the single door leads to the toilet room.
On the other side is the other vanity that spans the entire length of the room. The double doors lead to the closet!
And, what a closet! This is only one side of the closet. It is massive! However, Mr. Dedicated has already been a little space hog; spreading out all of his clothes. That will definitely need to change!

This bath is a jack and jill bath that is in between the blue room and the spare room.

We love the outdoor area!
This yard is perfect for a rectangle pool. We will definitely put a pool in on down the road.
The size is perfect for us. Large enough to entertain, but not so big that it will take a lot of time to clean. Some of the aspects we love: the crown moulding, wood floors, stair case, plantation shutters, large kitchen, large laundry room, open floor plan and large backyard!
