Hello World! Welcome Friends! We have closed on both houses; and our move date is this Saturday the 4th! The painters arrived at the new house to start the massive painting project. If you follow me on Instagram, I posted a picture of our new pantry which I cleaned and started painting yesterday. But, for your enjoyment, here is the 4th house we toured.
We’ll call this one East Copper Lakes:
The East Copper Lakes is a two story house with 3,335 square feet.
The curb appeal on this one is very pretty in person.
This house has a cozier feel than the other three and is completely charming. The formal living room is to the right of the entry with the family room straight ahead past the stairs.
Family room looking into the kitchen and breakfast area.
Other side of family room with built-ins. The hallway leads to the master bedroom.
The family room has nice windows as does the breakfast room.
Lots of counter space and cabinet space in this kitchen. The only drawback is that the cooktop is electric. We prefer gas…oh, and the light fixture would have to go. The door straight ahead is a corner pantry and the door in the hall leads to the powder bathroom.
The door to the left of the refrigerator leads to the laundry room. Look at the sweet puppies in the dog crate! They were super sweet when we toured the house. We would have loved giving them some snuggles!
Formal dining room at the front of the house.
The double doors lead to the hall that connects the dining room to the kitchen.
Formal living room!
The hardwoods carry into the master bedroom.
In the master bedroom looking back towards the master bath.
Updated shower, tub and granite top.
The door leads to the toilet.
This is the powder room on the first floor. The owners updated all of the bathrooms with new granite, new sinks and hardware.
Directly above the family room is the upstairs game room with built-ins. The door leads to a walk-out attic.
Lovely tray ceiling with crown moulding.
Bedroom #2 upstairs.
Bathroom upstairs.
Another bathroom upstairs.
Bedroom #3 upstairs.
Another picture of the family room looking back towards the stairs.
Screened in porch off of the breakfast room and family room.
Screened in porch looking back towards the house.
Door leading from the driveway to the porch.
Here’s the rundown on the East Copper Lakes house:
4 Bedrooms
3 1/2 Baths
3,335 sq. ft.
2 car garage
Lot size: 10,416

I can’t wait to find out which one you picked. they are all beautiful … and enormous! I guess I am used to houses here in the UK which are generally MUCH smaller. I had a quick look online, an average house here is 1,300 squ ft.
I have really enjoyed the look round them all, a little escapism after a long day at work!

Another beautiful home – you definitely had a difficult decision to make. Looking forward to seeing which one will become your new home ( I myself love the feel of #1 with those floors).

I’ve been following along on your house hunt. This one does feel cozier. I am eager to see which one you chose. You didn’t include the intangibles, like school districts, shopping, entertainment, etc., so I’m only flailing about in the dark without all the info. All of the houses, though, are beautiful. Keep us posted!

Thanks for checking out the houses! All of the houses are located in the same school district, but Little Dedicated will be changing schools within the district. She has tons of friends from gymnastics that go to her new school which she is super excited about. I will be posting which house we chose this week. Hope you’ll pop back in! Have a lovely Sunday!
