Hello World! Welcome Friends! Sorry for not getting the tour live yesterday. Chloe woke up with a fever and stayed home from school. So, obviously that changed my day considerably. Today she feels much better and no fever. So, here we go! Well, the house is decorated and the gifts have been purchased. However not one gift has been wrapped! That’s the next project. I’m so glad to have you here today. Welcome to Part Two of our Christmas tour. I hope you enjoy looking around! I would love it if you would leave a comment letting me know your favorite part of the tour. Settle in because there are a lot of pictures!
A pretty wreath greets you as you enter.
Let’s pop into the Study to have a look at our little golden tree. I haven’t done a thing in this room as far as paint and decor. I really should do this one for a One Room Challenge.
I used two kinds of ribbon, two kinds of beads and gold and brown ornaments.
Across the foyer we go into the Dining Room. The Dining Room is another room I need to work on. This one will take some time though. The previous owners painted over wallpaper and you can see bubbles in the paper underneath the paint. Ugh.
This pretty white tree sits in the corner next to the china hutch. This year, I changed up the ribbon using three different kinds.
In the foyer next to the big tree is the sweet, Ballard Designs chest with some pretties on top.
I had the plain wreath, but decided to use the deer ribbon that is also on the big tree as well as faux poinsettias which also make an appearance on the big tree.
I would love to get a new tree someday because this one has seen better days. But. for now, we load her up and make her look pretty in red and gold.
The banister got the full treatment at the request of Little Dedicated. I used blue, gold, and silver ornaments with gold ribbon.
I used poinsettias just below the star with ribbon cascading down.
Little Cozi follows me around anytime she sees the camera come out of the bag. Our old kitty, Berlioz, who is no longer with us, would follow me around whenever I cleaned. So funny.
Just for fun!
Every year we go to Hallmark and buy an ornament to celebrate that year. This ornament was from mine and Greg’s first Christmas together as a married couple 11 years ago.
The pantry door got a wreath as well.
Ginger’s resting place for the day.
Well, that wraps it up for this girl. There are two more trees that have been decorated, but the rooms are up for makeovers soon. So, you will have to wait to see those rooms. I hope you enjoyed all of our decor. It was fun decorating our new house. Now, I’m ready to relax and enjoy the holidays.
I pray God’s abundant blessings upon your families this Christmas and Holiday Season! May you abide under the shadow of the Almighty! How beautiful to be able to celebrate our dear Savior’s birth! May joy and peace reside in your hearts and homes! Love to you and your dear families from Greg, Chloe and myself!
