Hello World! Welcome Friends! Well, I know I told you this post was going live yesterday, but we’ve had several gloomy days and the photos just didn’t look right. So, this morning, I did a re-shoot. I hope you enjoy the Christmas decor in our dining room!
In the dining room blue and white rules the day. Let’s take a little tour…
On the sideboard are a few blue and white pieces as well as some of my Spode Blue Italian and a Currier & Ives serving platter.
Believe!
Our plain, little white tree spruced up a bit. Next year I want to get a flocked tree. I think it would look so pretty loaded up with my blue, white, and silver ornaments.
I had to turn the tree lights off to get some decent pictures. White lights + white tree = a lot of white light!
Little Cozi prefers to sleep under the white tree.
She looks a little irritated. Probably because I kept waking her up to see if she would look at the camera. I call it a little payback for the nightly romp she takes on me around 1:30 in the morning!
On the tree are two different ribbons, picks, and a mixture of glass and plastic ornaments.
The windmill is one of my special ornaments.
The shoes were a gift from a previous boss from her travels to Holland.
I stacked my cake plates to create my centerpiece.
Looking back into the foyer.
I picked up the Christmas tree several years ago at Hobby Lobby!
I made the wreath years ago with help from my Mom.
I usually put these glass angels on the tree, but this year I decided to put them on the table.
Look at the pretty swan top.
I fortunately did not need to buy any ornaments, lights, or Christmas decor this year. I definitely have plenty.
I hope you enjoyed the dining room dressed up for the season!

Your dining room is beautiful, Kathryn. I love the colors of blue, white and silver. The swan apothecary jar, the glass angels, the tiered ornaments, the white tree — just lovely. Thanks for sending me the link to your kitchen photos. I’ll be sharing them with our designer.

Wow. This is amazing. I am going to have to copy your tree next year! And that I think I can do, but wherever in this world did you get that garland on your stair rails? Did you make it??

So glad I stopped by from Chloe Crabtree blog. Beautiful blue and white arrangements, I might have to copy the idea of stacking cake plates and loading with bulbs.
