Hello World! Everyone wants to be surrounded by beauty in life but few of us ever achieve a true sense of all that is beautiful in our lives. One of the best and easiest ways to bring beauty into your life is by starting with that which you know best – your home! They say that your home is your palace so why not make it the most beautiful place in the world as you envision it. Bring life to your home with vibrant colors in a scheme that moves from one color to the next, from one shade to the next and from one room to the next. Here’s how it’s done.
Decide on Your Approach
While some people approach home décor from the room inward, others choose the furnishings first and work outward to the walls and decorations throughout. Either way is fine, depending on how often you believe you will be changing your furniture or how often you feel your walls will need repainting. In this model, let’s look at a starting point of the furniture you absolutely can’t live without. After all, you can’t sit on walls or eat on the ceiling. Furniture is what adds comfort and functionality, but there is no reason it can’t be beautiful as well.
Exploring Colors in Furniture
There is nothing that says furniture must all be black, white, chrome and wood as is evidenced by the absolutely beautiful collections on the Danetti website. From one room to the next you can colour your home with some of the most amazingly lovely, and yes colorful, furniture from their contemporary collections. Each color lends itself well with others in the collection so that you can move from yellow to blue to vibrant reds and blues. It’s all about how you, personally, envision you color scheme and what speaks to you on some inner level. Remember, each color represents and emotion so keep your colors in tune with your true inner self. If you ‘feel’ it, it works!
You Really Can’t Overdo It with Color
Once you have a sense of where you are going with your color scheme it is important to remember that in today’s contemporary décor you really can’t overdo it with color. You can however overdo it with clutter! If you are going to use color to beautify and contemporize your home, it is best to minimize accessories and decorations. A few well-placed pictures in keeping with your color scheme and perhaps an ornament or lamp, vase or other table topper would work well, but use those sparingly. You want the eyes to focus on the beauty of the color, not the mess created with an overabundance of pointless knickknacks.
In short, color me beautiful home décor is all about just that – color. Explore a variety of color schemes until you have one that speaks to you. Go from bold and brassy to pastel and calming. It’s all about what mood you want to live in because it is, after all, your palace, your kingdom, your sanctuary and that place where your heart resides, your home.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day/night wherever you are in the world! Go with God and remember to be kind to one another!

It’s like you writing this for me. Thank you. I am color obsessed. It is hard for me to carry one color scheme throughout the whole house because I am so fickle and love almost every shade but I am learning to pare it down and edit. The minimal thing is also easier. I lived through the more is more so I am embracing a simpler cleaner look. Loved your thoughts here and will refer back to them I’m sure.

You make a nice point about feelings and color. They are connected to emotion and choosing according to emotion may be a reasonable choice.

You are correct about the different ways people decide to design their homes. Some people do add furnishings and them build from there, as you share.
