Hello World! Today is the second installment of our Grilling Series at The Dedicated House. This week is our recipe for Skirt Steak. Now, most people use skirt steak to make fajita meat, which of course is amazing. But, sometimes we like to mix it up a bit and eat it by itself accompanied with a vegetable of choice.
It’s so easy to make and very delicious. In fact, this is one of Little Dedicated’s favorite foods. We all know it’s nice to hear excitement for dinner instead of groans.
This is our secret: KC Masterpiece Marinade. We love the Honey Teriyaki flavor.
Let the meat soak up the marinade for at least 30 minutes, if you are in a hurry. The longer you let it soak, the better it tastes. Pop it on a 300° grill for 5 to 7 minutes per side. Easy Peasy!
Slice it up and enjoy with your favorite side dishes!
If you follow me on Instagram you will have already seen our fresh rosemary and basil from our little garden spot. I promise to one day take a picture of our happy, happy rosemary and basil. They were planted early in the spring and have grown from tiny plants to quite large and in charge plants.

Here’s where I confess to being the only Texan who has never cooked a skirt steak. I’m going to have to add it to the list. Glad you told how long to cook it because I would have dried it out for sure. 🙂
Happy Thoughts of Home, Kathryn. 🙂
