Hello World! How has your week been? I guess by now, some of you have noticed that I’m making the switch over to self-hosted WordPress. We are still working on the design end of things; so bear with us as we get the site prettified. I’m super excited for you to see it and also for all of the big changes coming our way!
I don’t decorate a whole lot for Valentine’s, but I do have enough decor to get Little Dedicated super excited for the holiday of love. I’m sorry, the holiday of “love and pink” as she likes to refer to it.
The sun was pouring in while I took pictures and gave them a bright and a bit white washed look.
Isn’t this the sweetest butter dish? I picked her up at Home Goods and just had to show her to you!
Outside the Valentine decor is pretty sparse except for this pretty heart wreath.
The heart wreath was purchased several years ago at Target. Good ‘ole Target. You go in for a couple of things and come out with a basket full!
The heart shaped plates were bought years ago; of all places, at the grocery store.
Each plate has such unique and pretty detailing.
Do you remember the heart that I created and my little heart bouquet from a couple of years back? She was super easy to make. I bought a styrofoam wreath and some tiny red flowers that came in bunches from Hobby Lobby. I pulled all of the little flowers off of the big stem and stuck them into the styrofoam heart. No glue was used at all. The styrofoam heart was then stuck on a skewer that I had wrapped in ribbon and then placed in the bottom of this pink wicker plant basket that had styrofoam in the bottom. Filled the basket with little decorative balls that my cats think are for their enjoyment. LOL
That’s it for my Valentine decor! Just enough to be sweet and pretty. I do hope all have a lovely Valentine’s Day this weekend! Mr. Dedicated is taking me out tonight. He won’t tell me where we are going, but did say I needed to dress up a bit! Fortunately, it won’t be too cold tonight and I can wear some gold strappy heels I bought that I’ve been wanting to wear again.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit! Have a gorgeous weekend! Go with God and remember to be kind to one another!
Toodles,
