It was a post about some purchases I had picked up from Goodwill and transformed using white paint I had on hand. This post received 6574 page views. To go from 300 page views to over 6000 for one post was quite the shock.
With that my following started to grow. And, I started to make some money. Now, I don’t make a huge chunk of change yet from my blog. But, I do make enough money to buy furniture, decor, giveaways for the blog, and to contribute to our vacations. Here are the numerous ways I make money.
Google
I run Google Ads as you can see. It’s super easy to set up and they pay straight to your bank account. Once your ad account with Google hits $100.00 from ad revenue, they issue the funds to your bank account. $100.00 can quickly add up, especially if you don’t touch it. Link Vehicle
Link Vehicle has been phenomenal to work with. I do a minimum of one post for them per month. There have been months where I’ve received up to 8 post requests from them. When you sign up, you choose which category you want to write for and what your price is per post. For instance, my category is home and garden. So, Link Vehicle sends me posts that pertain to home and garden. Link Vehicle pays monthly and sends it straight to my PayPal account. Click the link below to head to Link Vehicle to get set up.

ntent are the ads that you see at the bottom of the post after the comments with little picture boxes that include links. These are very easy to set up as well and they pay quarterly to a PayPal account. Click the link below to get set up on ntent.

This is generous of you, Kathryn, to share all of this information. I hadn't heard of most of these sources before, so I appreciate this. I keep putting off the process of trying to monetize because I don't feel my blog is at that level yet. One of these days I'll take the plunge 🙂

Glad you liked the information, Julie! When you do decide to monetize, feel free to contact me if you need any help or have questions. Hope your week ahead is lovely. Toodles, Kathryn

I really appreciated the information you shared here even though I'm too sporadic a blogger to benefit from it. Your blog truly is a wonderful place to come and learn or see beautiful things.

Kathryn, I found your blog today thru Sandra and Hennie Cronjie. I thoroughly enjoyed my browsing. Then I found this particular post.
I have been praying for an income to help with my retirement. I love the farm and sewing but it has become a drudge while "I" have tried to make it a provision for income . I think that possibly God has directed me here. Soooooooo… Would you possibly visit my blog and see If my style of blogging could be used in this way. I realize I would have to be much more disciplined in regularity in my posting. No problem with that. I will be praying for God's guidance before I step out on this. I would appreciate any advice you can give me to improve my blog in preparation for this. I don't know how many people you have help with this post but it has been a big one for me. It has put hope and joy in my heart. Thank you so much for being willing to help others. May God continue to Bless you.
