The Round-Up from Before & After Wednesday

Hello World!  Well, here in Houston, Monday night we had a ton of rain.  We lost power briefly, but we are thankful that we did not have any flooding here at our house!  There are many throughout the city and area that have not been so fortunate.  The storm was by far one of the worst storms I have ever been through.  It rained for a good solid 8 hours.  On top of the rain, there was constant thunder and lightning.  School was canceled yesterday; so Little Dedicated had one more day tacked onto her holiday weekend.  Needless to say, we didn’t get much sleep Monday night.  It was one of the loudest storms I’ve ever tried to sleep through.  I think we averaged maybe 3 hours of sleep.  So, yesterday we were super sleepy and didn’t get much accomplished.  That’s why this post is up today instead of yesterday.

Starting off the Round-Up is this “I’m so in love with this blue” hutch transformation from Artsy VaVa.  I may just have to go buy something to use this gorgeous color on! 

I love a good closet transformation!  Southern Seazons has opened up her closet doors and let us in to see the progress she is making in transforming this space!  I kinda have closet envy!  Just a wee bit!  LOL

Next up, is this sweet little chest transformation from The Chimney Pot.  Just look at that pretty fan detail.  I would probably touch that everyday!  I believe The Chimney Pot is new to our party, so head on over and give her a big welcome and a virtual hug! 

Excuse me while I have a moment!  I think I may have gotten a little weak in the knees looking at this pair!  Definitely swooning!  D.D.’s Cottage and Design picked up this beauties at Goodwill!  I would have snagged them up quick if my Goodwill ever had anything this gorgeous!  Of course, she transformed them into the lovelies we see here.  Still swooning!
