Hello World! Welcome Friends! Last night we had a massive thunder storm that came in from the North with tons of lighting, thunder and plenty of rain. It came down hard and fast, but fortunately we didn’t have any damage. The cats got scared and my olive tree which is in a large pot in the backyard toppled over. I know, I haven’t shared that I have an olive tree! She is a beaut! In between bouts of rain, Mr. Dedicated ran out and set her right.
This week, I have something new to show you. I gave you sneak peek in my Stories on Instagram. Don’t worry if you missed it, I will show it off to you later this week. There has been another major furniture shuffle over the weekend which I’m only halfway pleased about. I will update you on that as well. And, I’m itching to start painting my kitchen cabinets. I really should go ahead and start on this and work on it in bits. There is a ton of cabinetry to paint and it is going to take a long time. I should just go ahead and do it. The paint has already been purchased…geesh!
And, I have a new favorite show…”Mountain Men” on the History channel. There are 6 seasons and we are working our way through Season 1 on On Demand. Check it out if you have time! These men are quite amazing! Goodness, I’m quite chatty today! Typical, I either have nothing to say or too much to say!

My friend gave me his Olive tree when he moved to GA. Since he lived in a townhouse here in Houston, he kept all of his trees in pots. Granted, it’s a large pot and she looks like she is itching to get in the ground. Anyhoo, your cabinet is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing at The Dedicated House!
