Hello World! Can you believe we are officially in the Fall season? With Fall comes a slew of dishes that only make their appearance in the Fall and Winter months. I have to admit, I love cold weather dishes. You know the kind that warms you from the inside out. This past Sunday before Little Dedicated and I watched “The Music Man”, I made a pot of Zuppa Toscana and put it on the stove to simmer. I think everyone pretty much knows that Zuppa Toscana is one of Olive Garden’s signature soups. It really is an amazing and filling soup. I originally found the recipe on Food.com. But, I have tweaked it here and there. One of my favorite ingredients in the soup is kale. I love kale and especially love all of the health benefits it provides. I always get a little boost of energy after eating kale and some of the other super foods such as fatty fish and turmeric. Did you know that fatty fish and turmeric are top of the list for brain foods this year? Avocados and berries of course made the list as well. Definitely some of my favorite foods. Okay, back to Zuppa Toscana!

This is so funny! As I am catching up on today’s linky parties, my husband is in the kitchen making Zuppa Tuscana!! And then I saw your post and knew I had to stop by!!
I’ve actually never had it at Olive Garden like my husband has. My favorite soup there is the chicken and gnocchi. So I don’t have any comparison, but my husband’s is awesome!! I’m pretty sure he uses the same recipe you posted.
I am with you. I LOVE kale! And it is so good for us!
Thanks for sharing.
